Stray doppies

Roger Smith was out and about in Germany and Austria last month promoting his new novel Wake Up Dead (due for release here in the spring). He also put in at the Munich Crime Festival to give a reading. Check out his website and Facebook page for news and reviews.

Margie Orford and Deon Meyer will be out and about at the French Quais du Polar crime writers’ festival in Lyon this weekend. They move on to London for a double act at the Travel Bookshop in Nottinghill, London. For two UK reviews of Orford’s Blood Rose click here and here.

Deon Meyer is also a star turn at a PEN festival in the UK before heading for the London Book Fair the following weekend.

Jassy Mackenzie was recently put under the hot lights by author J Sydney Jones and the result of that interrogation can be read on his website Scene of the Crime.
